Barbara Czechmeszyńska – Skowron

Marketing & Public Relations Director

Barbara joined ECC in 2003 as the marketing and communications director.
She graduated from Warsaw Technical University with a degree in environmental engineering and completed postgraduate studies in journalism and PR at the University of Warsaw.
At ECC she is responsible for marketing in addition to the ECC group’s B2B printed publications, media contacts and Internet projects.
Before joining ECC, Barbara spent 7 years as PR director of L’Oreal Poland - FMCG sector, and 6 years as marketing and communications director of Bertelsmann/G+J Poland - media and publishing sector.
Barbara is a member of both the Brussels and Polish International Journalists Association, the International PR Association, the Polish Golf Association, the Polish Translators Association, and a member of the Supervisory Board of two foundations.
She has been practicing yoga and playing golf for years, but her passion is contemporary design and architecture.
She is even married to a landscape architect and has one very talented daughter, Kaja -a young architect and journalist.
