Os. Podkowa phase II
The Osiedle Podkowa (Podkowa Estate) project will be developed in Koninko, an up-and-coming district of the city of Poznan. The location of this future “gated community” is a green and quiet area with splendid views, 15 minutes drive from the city center. In the direct neighborhood, in recent years, there have been several new developments for people wanting to live outside, but within reach of, the city center.
Podkowa is an exclusive residential development, where 193 houses covering a surface of 10 ha. will be developed. The design, with a few French and English country style influences, can be considered unique for Polish houses. It combines classic composition, living comfort and modern technical solutions. There are five different types of houses and due to the variation and variegation, many vitiated and careful image comes to existence. Every house perceives it selves by use of colors, abstract refinement and type. The house appearances are from high quality, with a natural stone at the front, obvious abstract refinement and ornamental elements.
The accessibility of the location is very good by means of a new highway. Several facilities such as a hypermarket, IKEA and a cinema are situated between the building construction and the city centre. Some facilities will be developed in the area, including a supermarket, a day care center and a clubhouse. In terms of population, Poznan is the fifth largest city in Poland and is one of the most economically developed areas in the country. Poznan is the second city, behind Warsaw, as far as buying power and levels of employment are concerned. The gross national product of Poznan's inhabitants is almost twice the rural average. There are many foreign companies and investors operating in Poznan. Every year the city hosts about 40 international exhibitions, where more than 10,000 exhibitors from 60 countries are represented. The city is also an important economical center in terms of trade, services, logistics and industrial production.
In spring 2004 the 1st phase (5 terraced houses) of the Podkowa Housing Estate was delivered.
The Osiedle Podkowa project addresses the market situation and offers high quality houses, with a unique design, at an attractive and green location close to the city center. The start of the building construction of the 2nd phase is expected in the 3rd quarter of 2009.
